Editor's review

This Spanish folk-rock duo strips the bombast off of Coldplay's arena rock: sparse instrumentation and strong vocals convey emotionally-charged songwriting. The Sounds of Them are the sounds of all of us.

Biography

"Sounds of them" is just the other side of "One of them".
Two different ways of perceiving the same musical reality;
different sounds, different instruments, different people, even different songs
but at bottom the same idea of desiring to connect with the listener's emotions.

In fact, the project is an initiative of Sergi Bofill to satisfy all that worries and sounds that they dont't fit at all with the sound of "one of them", in all case searching for a biggest simplicity and confidence on playing every song, with reference to sounds from artists like Damien Rice, Kings of convenience or Dakota suite.

In the recordings,Sergi is the one who plays and records himself all the instruments (voices, guitar, bass, keyboards, drums) but in live shows he relies on warm help from different collaborators.
