Biography

squelch was formed in january 1997 and have since performed many times on all the major scenes in Bergen, Norway. A.o. it played support for Gene on Hulen, Bergen. They also played in Samfundet Trondheim in 2000. The band has released two demoCds, one of them who was selected as a finalist at the demo contest "Bylarm" in Trondheim, Norway 1998. Squelch was "Pick hit of the day" on amp3.com in june 1999. In the year of 2000 they decided to break up :-( From listen.com: "squelch creates simple, catchy songs that develop via verses that are grounded by a straight-ahead rhythm section, allowing the guitars to interplay with both charmingly sloppy lines and tight, tough riffs. Hook-laden refrains abound."
