Steve Bradshaw, singer/songwriter/guitarist, has been writing and performing his songs for over thirty years. He has led worship in a wide variety of church settings and has played with many different worship bands. Born in Kent, UK he grew up near Liverpool during the sixties, so was inevitably influenced by the music of the Beatles.
In the seventies, Tony Visconti, then producer of David Bowie, listened to one of Steve's demonstration tapes and encouraged him to come back with a band. Having tried many different groups on Merseyside, Steve came to London in 1978 to continue the search. Still writing and recording his songs, Steve had a life-changing encounter with Jesus in a North London launderette in 1982. The focus of his music then changed.
Steve has worked with many different churches over the last twenty years and has always sought to bring the Gospel truths alive to children. He has worked in inner-city schools and also taught in Sunday Schools, while helping to run joint-churches evangelism projects in South London. At one time he pastored a small fellowship in Brixton. He is at present leading worship in an Anglican fellowship near Bromley, Greater London.
Steve is married to Noel-Ann. They have four children, Josh (born 1988), Karen (1991), David (1993) and Isaac (1997). He has recorded a number of albums, the two most recent being 'Just Like You' and 'Waterspout'.
