Editor's review

Whether arranging his bittersweet songs with stark, mechanical beats or warm, organic strings and piano, Steve Garvey always makes his yearning voice the main focus, and it's always fitting, no matter what he surroundings it with.

Biography

Steve Garvey is an Irish singer songwriter based in Dublin.  His songs range from introspective folk/rock to anthemic folk/pop with a touch of electronica added in from time to time.

For live performances, the music is stripped down to the more intimate acoustic guitar & vocal setup.

Steve spent the last year tucked away in his bedroom writing and recording, developing his songwriting and performing skills, and recording the results on his little computer.

He is now gigging with a vengeance around Dublin and hopes to keep on learning and pushing.
