Now a resident of New Jersey, Choudhury spent many years performing in India, honing a sweet crossover sound that's gently punctuated with soft drum rhythms and crisp sitars.
Biography
Suranjan, a vocalist, music teacher and musician, performed all across India since his childhood. The flexibility of his voice along with the rigorous trainings in classical music has made him capable of singing any variety of songs with ultimate ease and expression. For the last ten years he has been performing, recording and teaching in the US.
He received trainings in Indian classical, semi-classical music, Rabindrasangeet (Tagore songs), Nazrulgeeti, Ghazal, Hindi and Bengali pop.
