Swingset Champion

Some time ago in a far off land beyond the borders of black and white, two young men existed living practically side by side, entirely ignorant of the potential that lay between them. Their names were Lucas and Paul. After a brief discussion of possibilities and opportunities they agreed to embark on a long journey. Somewhere not far from the place whence upon they came to this decision, they discovered another young man with similar desires and hopeful expectations. His name as they to know it was Matthew. Shortly after this they became overcome with the need for greater strength and dynamic. Dynamic unattainable without a forth member. A wise young scholar who went by the name of John. Thus the three found a fourth and united in their pursuit for treasures with longsuffering and much trial. Swingset Champion is the collaboration of these four (although young) seasoned journeyers. The band’s expression of musicality comes out through a genre most easily stated as indie pop rock. The quartet’s live show could be defined as methodical and teaming with energetic bursts of raw feeling and emotion. The “Therefore EP “ showcases Swingset’s ability not only to create melody and rhythm memorable to many a listener, but to draw a person in to the fabric of theirs hearts with sincerity of playing and presentation. Much effort, dedication, and love has gone into “Therefore” and admittedly deserves a listen.
