Artist Bio:
TaMyya J, born LaTasha Myya Johnson from New Jersey, USA is a singer/songwriter and arranger on her debut CD titled "Suddenly" featuring contemporary, traditional gospel and urban sounds.

She has ministered in song at events throughout the United States and has shared the stage as an opening act for or as a co-featured artist with many artists including Hezekiah Walker, Karen Clark-Sheard, Kim Burrell, Mary Mary, Trinity 5:7, Donald Lawrence, Richard Smallwood, Bubby Fann & Unlimited Praise, and Natalie Wilson & SOP just to name a few. She has also ministered at events sharing the stage as a co-featured artist with many regional and local artists, including The Choir Boys, Tye Tribbett & GA, Tony Moore & Jehovah's Chosen, The Russell Delegation, T-Wyse, Benita and many more.

TaMyya J's focus is to spread the gospel across the world in song, particularly to the young and young at heart. She is a member of New Strength Gospel Church in New Jersey where she faithfully serves as a Praise & Worship Leader.

TaMyya J brings together the ministry of song and dance with her dancers, knowing that dance is also a form of Praise. "David danced with all his might"

She has performed for the New Jersey?s Capital Mayor, the Philadelphia Historic Penn?s Landing, Clear Channel Concert events, Police Athletic League organization, African Heritage Cultural Extravaganza and as the special guest artist at the America?s Anointed Showcase.

"I was singing before I could talk and I can't imagine a life without music. I believe that anointed music is what pleases God and that is what I want to do." says TaMyya J.
