Just because he's from Texas doesn't mean he's going to fall lockstep behind his former governor. Austin's Blackwell offers dusty political folk in the old-time tradition, full of clever riffs on American leaders. The best being: "There ain't no W in democracy/'less you turn it upside down."
Biography
Ted was raised in Texas, spent a career in the US Navy, saw duty in every part of the world including Viet Nam and the Persian Gulf, retired in Austin where he now works as a teacher. He has developed a few opinions over the years.
