The latest from the seminal L.A. gangsta-rap group is more openly dark than predecessor "Cali Iz Active." Tracks like the Game's "Anybody Killa" are clanging and dystopian. As usual, though, someone forgot to tell Snoop, whose definition of "vibe" marks a new highlight in the g-funk dictionary.
Biography
Following the release of their 2006 comeback album Cali Iz Active, Tha Dogg Pound is back with an even stronger effort entitled Dogg Chit. Representing the very essence of West Coast Hip-Hop, Tha Dogg Pound has been synonymous with longevity and consistency. Core members Daz Dillinger and Kurupt helped pioneer the G-Funk sound of the "left coast", and do not disappoint on this new release which includes the first single "Vibe" feat. Snoop Dogg & "Good Day." Additional guest appearances include Too Short, The Game, and many more
