Biography

The Blonding Dandelions are three mid-western teenagers by the names of Devin, Kaitlin and Rachel who play the guitar, viola and bass guitar respectively. They all enjoy singing and writing songs in which one might hear a  tinge of their influences that include, bands such as: The Velvet Underground, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Smiths, The Hollies and The Cure.

The blonding dandelions fall into the genre of 'Twee Pop.' Twee is British baby talk for sweet. Some might say that means that their music is "overly precious or nice," though this may be a good thing.

The Blonding Dandelions have limited resources when it comes to recording their material. They use Adobe Audition 1.5 and a $20 Logitech computer microphone to record everything they make. This explains the somewhat distracting, yet unintentional tendency of their songs to sound a little "lo-fi."

At the end of the day, The Blonding dandelions' goal is just to bring a good feeling to their listeners, and they will certainly enjoy any comments about their music.
