Biography
After being given a whole host of audio software by a friend, and influenced by Jungle artists such as DJ Hype, Ellis Dee, Rude & Deadly, Rebel MC (Congo Natty), DJ Rap, Ray Keith, DJ SS, The Dream Team, Urban Shakedown, Krome & Time, DJ L.A.B. got in to producing Jungle and Drum 'n' Bass in late 2000. He has been playing at clubs and raves all over Norfolk and more recently in North Yorkshire to great response.
His love of reggae from a very young age has also been a major influence in his music, with many of his tracks including reggae samples, vocals and melodies. Sirens, horns, stabs and heavy basslines can be heard far and wide whenever one of his tracks is spinning!
His first release on vinyl came out on the 16th April 2007 from UK-based record label 'Erbal Essence, on the four-track "Silver Dawn EP". His second release from the same label, "The Second Hit EP", was released in February 2008. For more information visit erbalessence.co.uk.
