- Frank Rich of The Great Kanaka.
Since the dawn of time?
The Great Kanaka has lived on a beach in a hut and has only recently been seen by four people (the four people of this very band!!!). The ka-knowledge that was exchanged during these summits of titanic proportions enabled this very band to?(?)
A funky-trancegroove Quattro out of the, north, east, westerly bountiful Bucks County are here to bake some techno muffins in your brain. Booyaa!!!
Samir Kenji Poles ? Guitar
Francis J. Rich Jr. - Drums
Gerard Walter Miles ? Keyboards
Alexander Lawrence Heitzenrater ? Bass
Samir Poles has been playing the guitar for 10 years and he is completely self taught. His style can be considered smooth and psychedelic. His influences include Jerry, both Jimmys, and Keller Williams. He enjoys flowing energy, which is the non-stop ultimate.
Francis Rich has been playing the drums for 11 years. He is self-taught, which gives him an original sound. He has incorporated two snares, and an electric drum pad, around his basic kit. He is motivated by fast driven beats with a smooth edge. And, his breakdowns are fun once in a while.
Gerard Miles has been playing the keyboard for 14 years. He was classically trained for 11 years, but his style is based on funk, blues, and trance. His fingers have been known to move at ludicrous speeds during many high-energy jams. His main influences include Jamie Shields, Rick Wakeman, Keith Emerson, and Jimmy Smith. He is wary of endeavors that require new cloths.
Alex Heitzenrater has been playing the bass for 9 years. He is primarily self taught, with the addition of 2 years at music college. Zappa funk is the best way in which to describe his style. You can call him anything you want, but don?t call him late for dinner. In fact, don?t call him at all.
