Biography

THEY ARE NOT THEMSELVES

Michael hates New York City. Jimmie loves his drums. Hilarie destroys her drums and loves guitars. Per Ole destroys his guitars and loves New York City.

They are not America's antidote to anything. They are poisonous and sweet and anyway Per Ole is from Norway not America.

So what if hemispheres collide in crashing chords, and purple mountains collapse, and fruited planes swarm in beautiful buzzing clouds?

They are not concerned. They plug in and make it happen.

So what if Hilarie Sidney breaks drums in the Apples in Stereo? She breaks strings here.

So what if Per Ole Bratset served as a pacifist in the Norwegian Army and sings softly in Palermo? He fires bullets here.

So what if Jim Lindsay keeps time in Oranger? He stops clocks here.

So what if Michael Snowden conducts experiments in Von Hemmling? He conducts lightning here.

They are not a super-group. Don't be stupid. They are like kryptonite. They glow.

They are The High Water Marks.

The High Water Marks are:

Hilarie Sidney (The Apples in Stereo, Secret Square) - guitar, lead vocals
Per Ole Bratset (Palermo) - lead guitar and vocals
Jim Lindsay (Oranger, Preston School of Industry) - drums
Mike Snowden (Von Hemmling) - bass
