Biography
The Malah originated in Greenville, SC.? All four members were friends long before they all realized they each shared the same love for creating music. The original members (Maynard, Vaughn, and Fankhauser) started out experimenting with all sorts of different types of music such as funk, jazz, hip-hop, reggae, and bluegrass. After about 18 months of forming what is now their present style, Perkins was invited to play. Since the addition, the band has continued to mold their own sound. They plan to continue to write and perform together as long as they can. The Malah is, Brandon Maynard - lead guitars, samples, Elliott Vaughn - bass, samples, Seth Fankhauser - drums, Andrew Perkins - percussion.
