The Sensational Hot Rods

The Sensational Hot Rods are a six piece. fully live. show band (no sequencing) dedicated to the music of the 50's era.   Their exciting presention consists of costume changes, choreography, and a library of over 100 songs from the fabulous 50's.

The Sensational Hot Rods have released four CD's.

'Cruising with the Hot Rods', the first CD is an all-original compulation of completely new music, played in the style of the 50's era.  There is a lot of saxophone on this CD for horn lovers.

The second CD, 'Tribute to the 50's' is a very popular CD as it is a mix of mega hits from the 50's and a sprinkling of hot new originals.

The Third CD is entitled 'Sensational Instrumentals' and it is just that!  There are 13 smoking 50's instrumentals including 'Pipeline, Telstar, Rebel Rouser, Harlem Nocturne to name a few. There are two bonus tracks on this CD consisting of 'Sax Attack' and 'Milestone', the bands own originals and f you have heard of 'Johnny & the Hurricanes then these two songs will bring you back in time!

The newest CD comprises of Christmas music with some beautiful new Christmas tunes written and perfomed by the band!

The Sensational Hot Rods have performed shows with 'The Stampeders', 'Doctor Hook, 'Prism', & Harlequin, Colin James, Nazareth.
