Formed by Tobias George Silvester (lead vocals, acoustic guitar and harmonica) and Wiper (double bass) in 2004, The Zetland Players rocky beginnings included a thieving ex-guitarist, several comically under-attended gigs and a misguided yet magnificent 3 month tour in America. In a bid to take their music to a wider audience, The Zetland Players decamped to North London and enlisted the help of electric guitarist and vocalist Adrian Zookrow in early 2006. Having honed their sound as enthusiastic and charming live performers, their self produced debut "Making Friends With...The Zetland Players" provides a snapshot of these prolific and hard working song writers. With a growing and dedicated fan base and a firm commitment to live appearances the Zetland boys are putting themselves in the ears and pockets of young and old alike.
