In the Eminem era, being the dorky white guy is hardly the rap handicap it once was. Artists from the uber-geeky MC Paul Barman to the yammering wiseacre Sage Francis have succeeded by actually playing up that role, and tman's chatty confessionals show he's got the right idea.

I know that the thought of a genre called emo rap makes most people sick, but it's the only way i can describe my music. I know i'll never get rich or get signed to a deal rapping about the stuff i rap about, but thats not really a concern to me. Hip hop fans don't realize that everyone on the outside looking in finds them to be uneducated fools who glorify violence and misogyny, but maybe some day they will find this out and refine their tastes. go to:
