An up-and-coming R&B vocalist could do worse than possessing an uncanny vocal similarity to Michael Jackson himself. But the gloved one would have to do a whole lot of moonwalking to get back to Fox's warm soul roots, which are brought to full fruition by Maurice Johnson's glowing guitar.
Tracks from Tom's debut album "Midnight Rain", have been broadcast on stations in europe, the far east and also coast to coast in the U.S on XM satellite radio, and worldwide on los angeles based DMX music.
"Midnight Rain" was nominated for two independent music awards in 2004 (sponsored by Virgin, Just Plain Folks, and Korg.)
Tom's 2nd independent CD, a soul/smooth jazz EP entitled "Slowly" featured collaborations with mid west
jazz guitar legend Maurice Johnson, and the Dr Dre of soul, funk and jazz "G" Fuston. "Slowly" achieved radio airplay from stations on both sides of the atlantic, some choosing the cd as their record of the week.
