This Bay Area group treks the choppy drums, high reverb, and trippy tremolo of '60s surf rock from the beach to somewhere farther out. Even if the guys aren't futuristic cosmonauts, as they claim, they're right about the genre, which has a psychedelic kookiness that borders on intergalactic.
