Born in Brazil 40 years ago or so aroung Salvador de Bahia, he picked up his first guitar in the 70?s.
In the 80?s, he was the opening act for Gilberto Gil who was not at the time Prime Minister but already a great musician.
In the early 90?s, he arrived in France where he gave Brazilian guitar and dance lessons (remember the Lambada !). Bringing to the North of France his spicy Brazilian energy, he created a quartet and initiated the first Brazilian Festival of Lille, not to mention Lille?s Carnival, percussions workshops and batucada.
In 2000, a first CD came out called ? Violeta 41 ?, followed by a two-title remix. Between Brazil and France, he composed his second CD ? Mitade ? which came out in 2004. He is currently preparing a new release.
