Biography

There have been many Retro-rock/blues bands playing from venue to venue that never make it into the "lime light". I can’t say that any of them ever will, but one thing that does set ‘Trash Lemons and the Hoffman Brothers’ far apart from the rest, is there perseverance to succeed with there outstanding musical talent. Whether it's ‘Extreme’ Raw Texas Blues, Classic Rock, or Funky Reggae, ‘Trash Lemons and the Hoffman Brothers’ will provide you with a great musical experience. That is unsurpassed by the rest.

Between the non-traditional sounds of Jimi's acid-rock, to the Muddy Waters blues sounds, Trash Lemons and the Hoffman Brothers’ is convinced that music is truly what they want to do with there lives.

Alan Fox
SXSW's 1995 lead guitar and vocals, graduated with honors from Carthage High School, this earned him a scholarship to Stephen F. Austin State University as a music major, were he learned even more about music, theory, and the preparing of "Jungle Juice’. Alan says, ‘If there’s an ice chest of Jungle Juice, there will be an audience to play for.’ At SFA he made many friends, and some turned out to be famous like, Stevie Ray Vaughn, that used to come to Nacogdoches from Austin, and Alan would open for him at the Cross Road Club. He also met song writer Michael Garvin who wrote, ‘Oh Me-Oh My Sweet Baby’ for Diamond Rio, from Bossier City, LA. He moved to Bossier with Mike and performed with him. He ran into another famous person, Jon Troy, who used to be Billy Joel’s manager, you know ‘Now Jon at the bar he’s a friend of mine’ He was owner/operator of a club called ‘The Med-Corp’ in Shreveport, LA. and wanted to put a band together for one of the locals there, a Ms. Mickey Honeycutt. Stan and Alan were in that band and now are together again in this project some twenty years later. Alan has performed and toured with some of the worlds greatest performers, such as Buggs Henderson, Wes Jeans, Rickey Lynn Gregg, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Neal McCoy, and Perfect Stranger, just to mention a few. The band itself is on the edge of releasing their first DVD and a new live album. With a little help, you will see these guys on top billing again.
