Editor's review

Not sure how many good rap groups have come out of Indianapolis, but we're betting Trilogy's leaning back, confidently enjoying floating on top. Comprised of Alpha Live, Onree, and Reddy Rock, the threesome's mix tape "Got Heat Or Die" has been circulating through the streets of their hometown, further establishing their local standing as Indie bosses. With a sound like a thuggy Andre 3000-meets J Dilla-meets Trick Daddy, look out for these boys, should they ever make their way to a coast.

Biography

Assembled in 2001, Trillogy members Onree', Reddy Rock and alpha live all possess a passionate and undying love for Hip Hop, entertaining, and music in general. So their goal? Make good, quality music. Period. "We make music to enjoy. Call it a 'life soundtrack'," says Rock. As the production third of the trio, 'Coach Redd's beats are a perfect compliment to the synergy of the group and his own lyrics: reality and cautionary tales wrapped in a mood of instruments, accented with his sharp wit. Onree', the outspoken third of the group, brings his own form of wit and arrogant charm.

"I'm basically that suave muf***a that you need on you label," says Naptown's Prince. "I'm here to give the world our perspective, from the Middle; how WE do it," he quips. And quick, clever quips are a regular from alpha live, the ensembles lyricist. "I'm just raw energy. Kinetic. A rhyme machine" declares aeleus visa, Mr. ErywhereUWannaBe. "Ciphers, freestyles, whatever; I blacks out. Anytime, anywhere, I'm gon give you that Hoosier sh*t. Real spit." Veterans of the stage, with a host of performances and openings under their belt, Trillogy has paid their dues and then some. Add to that a steady stream of releases and guest spots since their inception, its clear they're no rookies in the game. Trillogy's latest mixtape offering, "Got Heat or Die" has been circulating heavily through the streets, maintaining their street-heavy buzz as one of Indiana's premier groups.

With the ever-increasing spins of their infectious single, "Grind in Da Game", solidifying their credibility, Trillogy is poised to burn up the industry. So fireproof your squads; these Hoosier boys Got Heat. Don't get caught in the backdraft.
