1991: First played guitar for NECROSANCT- dubbed the most "fcuk off" in the U.K. recorded 'INCARNATE' & 'DESOLATE' CD's , for BLACK MARK label. Basically it was death/grind music to the extreme. Check out more at: www.necrosanct.co.uk.

1993: CalScott formed MICROCOSM with Ben Hussein, Morti & Baloo and after 2 years recorded 'THE UMBAH EXPERIENCE" CD. Never got released. But you can download the mp3z at www.umbah.com

1996: CalScott (UMBAH) then started working alone in the studio recording all instruments on an 8 track, then a few years later on to PC software:

Due to the experimental nature of the music, being complex fast, intricate, chaotic, and using originality as its weapon of choice, it is a hard ride to get on, so your probably gonna hate it, but for a select few the sonic creations of UMBAH are outstanding and leaves them guessing around every corner. The drum sequencing is frightening, the riffs are highly dissonant and they flow from one to another seemlessly, the overall mood is dark, deep and demented.
