Imagine the Streets' Mike Skinner with a Scottish brogue and you're on the right track. Underling replicates Skinner's spoken-word common wisdom, though the group's soundscape exchanges some of his hip-hop punch in exchange for chill guitar, bass lines, and warm atmospherics.
