Editor's review

The retro-rock style of the '50s is closer than ever with John-Boy and the Waltons. These Dutch rabble-rousers have legalized fun and they're not just one-hit wonders. Their crunchy pop sound is sure to make musical boredom disappear after just one use.

Biography

John-Boy & The Waltons, one of Hollands best known and funniest Rock'n'Roll bands, are the right band for all kinds of festivals, clubs, pubs and parties.

They play a lot of fifties and early sixties: Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles. So far The Waltons have released three CD's with covers, traditionals and their own material. Of course the mp3's on this website are all Waltons-originals! Five of them were  written and recorded in one and the same weekend in the Sing Sing Studio in Friesland. The other two were released on a 4 track EP by Rarity Records in 2002.

The Waltons originate from Nijmegen, in the east of The Netherlands. They've done over 1.200 gigs in the last 10 years, all over Europe and are willing to play ANYWHERE! Just give us a call: +3140-2075747.
