Wayne Simister has long been inspired by both the beauty and wonder of Utah, Yellowstone, Idaho, and surrounding states.
Particularly, Wayne's interest in the wonders of Yellowstone National Park has inspired a number of pieces that reflect his deep feelings from these yearly visits to Yellowstone. Some of the pieces include stereo recordings of geysers and other sounds that one finds in this most unusual and wondrous land.
The new feature film "Sublet," produced, directed, and edited by Georgiana Nestor used Wayne's music. This film won "Best Feature Film" and "Audience Choice" at the 2008 Treasure Coast International Film Festival in Florida.
