Biography

Witch Leavings play Dungeon Metal, a Post Black Metal form of negativity and gloom unmatched by any other. They don't like hippy Metal losers who try to play hard and wind up sounding like Alice in Chains meets At the Gates, or the soulless sell-outs who think they can combine Tool and Therion and get away with it. WL is for fans of True Metal, and they hunt down and kill all who play False Metal.

The sound WL try to project is that rare but awe-inspiring combination of Blackness and Rock sensibilities that can be seen in the likes of Khold, Abigor, Carpathian Forest, and Horna. Mid-paced hardcore grooves (sorry, stoners look elsewhere... We aren't doing the millionth rendition of Sabbath for you to smoke weed to) coupled with sheer northern noise and diabolical intensity. If you don't like dark, grim, negative, raw sh*t that you can bang your head to... Look elsewhere.
