The Rockers,Reggae/Soul/Rock&Funk vocals that LIL' BIG DON(DONALD WILCOX)has come to master began as a fun hobby for him. With time, he developed his musical skills by recording and producing his own music at home. K-NICE(KENNETH McMILLIAN)brought his hip-hop lyrics to the table in 1995. And with this unique blend of rhythm and socially conscience lyrics,YAPPA MUSIC/AYAT was born. While continuing with their own works as solo artists, LIL BIG DON and K-Nice began spending more and more time together developing the YAPPA MUSIC/AYAT sound.The addition of live instruments to the group marked a major progression for them.Don's cousin,bass player JOCKQUAIL DANCY(THE JOCKNESS MONSTER)came aboard along with guitarists ERIC DUNCAN(E-DOUBLE)&RAYNE CROOMS(PAPPA RAYNE);drummers IAN LUCY(THE WONDERBOY)&XAVIER POLK(THE YELLOW PREACHER)to the mix.The addition of other artist such as BARRY B(&THE ROCKERS);JAH MARCUS HIGH;THE GIRLIE ,GREEN QUARTET etc.Makes it at least worth a listen.So sit back and inhale the sounds and the different array of artist and styles of YAPPA MUSIC.THANX.?
